Shipping and Warranty

If you choose the regular delivery option, your order will be sent via Canada Post. No tracking number will be provided if you opt for regular delivery. For express and international shipments, we use either Canada Post or Purolator. We are not responsible for delays from Canada Post. Please be patient and refrain from emailing us about this.

Delivery Times

Delivery times may vary; here is an idea of the time to expect before receiving your package. Add 1 business day for order processing:

  • Express: Canada - 1-3 days, United States - 2-4 days, International - 3-6 days
  • Regular: Canada - 1-8 days (1-5 days in Quebec), United States - 4 to 12 days, International - 4 to 20 days

Taxes

The sales taxes charged depend on the destination of the order, where the order will be delivered:

  • British Columbia (BC) - 12% HST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Alberta (AB) - 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Manitoba (MB) - 7% PST on merchandise + 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Saskatchewan (SK) - 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • New Brunswick (NB) - 13% HST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) - 13% HST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Nova Scotia (NS) - 15% HST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Northwest Territories (NT) - 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Nunavut (NU) - 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Ontario (ON) - 13% HST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Prince Edward Island (PE) - 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges
  • Quebec (QC) - 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges + 9.975% QST on the total merchandise and shipping charges
  • Yukon (YT) - 5% GST on merchandise and shipping charges

No sales tax will be collected on orders shipped outside of Canada.

Delivery to the United States

All orders delivered to the United States are shipped by Xpresspost or Purolator. They are not subject to Canadian taxes. However, as orders cross customs, customs duties are to be expected. A customs invoice may accompany your package or follow by mail. Recipients are responsible for these additional fees, duties, and taxes. Please note that Chikiboom cannot provide estimates for customs fees.

International Delivery

All international orders are shipped by air (Canada Post or Purolator). They are not subject to Canadian taxes. However, as orders cross customs, customs duties are to be expected. A customs invoice may accompany your package or follow by mail. Recipients are responsible for these additional fees, duties, and taxes. Please note that Chikiboom cannot provide estimates for customs duties. Check with your local customs office for details.

Warranty

Chikiboom strives to offer high-quality products. In case of a manufacturing defect, Chikiboom will exchange your purchase for up to one year from the date of purchase. For any other reason, see the return policy.

Delivery

Chikiboom is committed to shipping products within a maximum of 72 hours after receiving the order. We are not responsible for carrier losses (Canada Post or others) or delivery delays due to uncontrollable events. Canada Post estimates standard parcel delivery times ranging from 2 business days (local shipments) to 15 days (international). Customs clearance fees are not included. Our partner can also assist you with your transport and moving needs in Montreal.

Inspecting Products Upon Receipt

You must inspect the products as soon as they are in your possession. If an item is missing or damaged, you must notify Chikiboom immediately. Chikiboom will not accept any claims for damaged or missing items more than 7 days from the date of receipt.
