Our story

CHIKIBOOM was born in Montreal on a wonderfully sunny spring day in 2010. Since then, Félix has been designing and making minimalist watches, jewelry, and accessories by hand using reclaimed leather.

Our leather comes from surplus materials that would otherwise have been discarded. We select each piece for its colour, texture, and quality, then give it a second life. Because our finds are always changing, many colours are available only in small batches. Here, rarity comes with the leather.

This way of working shapes every part of CHIKIBOOM, from design and production to packaging and shipping. Our environmental commitment is not based on a fashionable claim, but on genuinely reclaimed materials and local craftsmanship.

A member of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec, CHIKIBOOM has presented its creations in boutiques and festivals across Canada since 2010. The brand can notably be found at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, Artisans Canada, and Fabrique 1840 by Maison Simons.

Beautiful, practical objects made to last. Because starting from scratch is a little outdated.
